03 July 2015, Bangalore We are improving our database of VTU Notes, VTU Question Paper’s and study Materials for the welfare of VTU students community. In accordance with this, We have kept a small contest for VTU Folks. This contest will be unique on its own. Anyone or Everyone can be the winner in this “VTU Notes Contest”. The contest will go till first week of August 2014 (10 August 2015).

Those who are giving us highest number of notes and good readable materials, we are giving away goodies and gadgets. By August 2015, we will announce the list of personnel’s who made the “difference” and worked for the good cause. You may also have an opportunity to become syndicate member for Bookspar.

Taking part in this event, We don’t think anyone will have to loose anything. But we can assure you that the VTU Notes will be available with ease to the entire state of Karnataka.

Bangalore, 22 July 2014:VTU 1st and 2nd sem results will be announced today i.e. 22 July 2014 approximately 6 PM IST. The results will be announced Belgaum, Gulbarga and Mysore regions, conducted during May/June 2014. The Bangalore region results may be expected by tomorrow or day after just to avoid huge traffic and server problems.

Bangalore, 21 July 2014: VTU 1st and 2nd sem results will be announced tomorrow, i.e. 22 July 2014. The sources suggest that, similarly as in January 2014, the even semester results will be announced in short gap between. Sources say that results will be announced starting from the fourth week of July 2014. Also Within August 1st week, all semester results will be announced. VTU REVALUATION RESULTS 2014:

Bangalore, 9 September 2014: VTU B.E/B.Tech 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Semester Revaluation Results announced for all region of Examination June / July 2014. As Bookspar predicted the result have been announced after first week of september. Check results in the below block.

Bangalore, 6 September 2014: VTU 4th and 5th sem revaluation results announced today, i.e 6 September 2014. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th semester revaluation results will be announced within 3 days.

Bangalore, 1 August 2014: After the results got announced, now it’s time for applying for revaluation. Those who are not happy with the valuation, please fill the revals form on or before the below mentioned dates. The results will be however declared after 1st week of September 2014.

Bangalore, 31 July 2014: VTU 4th sem results for Mysore and bangalore region announced today, i.e. 31st July 2014. This completes the results for all the regions. The photocopy and revaluation details for 4th sem is as mentioned below.

Bangalore, 30 July 2014: VTU 4th sem results announced for Belgaum and Mysore region today, i.e. 30 July 2014. The Mysore and Bangalore region results yet to be announced.

Bangalore, 29 July 2014: VTU B.E./ B.Tech 6th semester results for all regions today, i.e. 29 July 2014. This will be followed by 4th semester results as predicted by BOOKSPAR on Thursday, i.e. 31 July 2014.

As per the June 2013 results, after 1st and 2nd semester results, the 5th and 6th sem results were announced. Thus there is a possibility that the next prey for VTU in terms of announcing results will be 5th and 6th sem. Later after 5th and 6th sem results the 3rd and 4th sem results may be expected.

Bangalore, 22 July 2014: VTU 1st and 2nd sem results will be announced today i.e. 22 July 2014 approximately 6 PM IST. The 4th sem results will be announced after 6th semester results by the end of the month.

However sources from VTU University told Bookspar that – “results will be announced starting from 4th week of July 2014. By the 1st week of August, all semester results will be announced. Bangalore, 29 July 2014: VTU B.E./ B.Tech 6th semester results for Bangalore region announced today, i.e. 29 July 2014. The photocopy and revaluation details are also enclosed below.

As per the June 2013 results, after 1st and 2nd semester results, the 5th and 6th sem results were announced. Thus there is a possibility that the next prey for VTU in terms of announcing results will be 5th and 6th sem. Later after 5th and 6th sem results the 3rd and 4th sem results may be expected.

Bangalore, 04 February 2016: We will provide an update about VTU B.E. 3rd sem results for December 2015 examinations at the earliest. As we all know the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th sem results have now been announced, it is time for the VTU 3rd and 4th sem results for Dec 2015 / Jan 2016 examinations.

The VTU 1st sem results will be slightly delayed as the practical exams were conducted after the theory examinations. Adding to it, this year VTU has started with the Grading system, wherein the students will not be provided with scores/marks. The students as well as the faculties are still confused with the process and procedures.

The study materials are currently available for the below Engineering Branches:

VTU (Visveswaraya Technological University) is one of the top Universities in India. And the #1 university for Karnataka, India. This university has 230+ colleges affiliated to it. There are more than 20 degree courses offered by the university across various branches. And we also know the VTU University is well to do as it has more than 5 lakhs students studying under the university.

But we are not able to understand who works on development of websites to the university. Recently VTU announced the 1st sem (New Scheme – CBCS) results and no students were able to check the results as there was bad sector and 404 errors in the VTU results page. It displayed the entire code to the users in place of results. The coding and UI used in the website has created lot problems to the students this year.

As VTU university collects huge amount of money from the candidates, the students at least expect the website to be bug free and loads as soon as results have been announced.

When student checks for his results, if the results are not announced yet, VTU displays the below page to the student: (Instead of saying – “The results have not yet announced”)

More over looks like the new Choice based Credit system is a big flog to the university. As we see a lot of students being not satisfied with their results. We see that most of the 1st semester students have received below par grades. With this new system, students are not able to see the marks they have received and thus has created a lot of problems and noise in the universities and colleges.

The students are not able to understand where they have lost marks or what is the exact/total marks they received. The snapshot of results for CBCS scheme looks like this:

Further adding to the drama, the marks scored may get reduced after re-valuation. Read more.

Thus the candidate has to first apply for photocopy, check where he lost marks, then apply for revaluations. This would cost Approx. Rs.1000 per subject per candidate.

We request to the university to fix all the results page related issues at the earliest.

March 1st, 2013: The VTU university all semesters results for B.E/B.Tech was announced during the first week of February. And the photocopy of answer scripts have been already emailed to the students for higher semesters. The 1st year B.E students will receive their photocopy of answer scripts by the 2nd week of March.

The revaluation results are expected to be announced for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th semesters by 2nd week of March, i.e. before 12 March 2013. The revaluation results will not be announced by dividing into regions, instead every semester results will be announced at a shot. Thus there will be no waiting period as during the usual results.

Jan 18, 2014, Bangalore:As per the VTU registrar announcement, VTU Results for 1st sem Bangalore and Mysore region B.E/B.Tech was supposed to be announced on Friday, 17 Jan 2014. However the University has failed to announce the result on the previously mentioned date. The articles on result being announced on 17 Jan 2014 was published on newspapers like Bangalore Mirror, Deccan Herald, Udayavani and The Hindu. All the students waited for the results being out till late night on Friday. And the results have not yet been announced. Now Students of VTU are on rage and they need answer for the failed promise.

Bangalore, 1 August 2014: After the results got announced, now it’s time for applying for revaluation. Those who are not happy with the valuation, please fill the revals form on or before the below mentioned dates. The results will be however declared after 1st week of September 2014.

Thus there is a possibility that the next prey for VTU in terms of announcing results will be 5th and 6th sem. Later after 5th and 6th sem results the 3rd and 4th sem results may be expected.

However sources from VTU University told Bookspar that – “results will be announced starting from 4th week of July 2014. By the 1st week of August, all semester results will be announced. The sources suggest that, similarly as in January 2014, the even semester results will be announced in short gap between. This is to prove the method of digital evaluation is faster by VTU.

Bengaluru, 9 May 2017: More than 4 months have passed and VTU University has failed to announce the results. The University which started digital evaluation 4 years ago and published results within 20 days after exams are now struggling to answer the questions raised by media and students for results. More than 2 lakh students have appeared for the odd semester exams and this would be a relief for the students after 4 months. The final year students who have applied for foreign universities have shown their grief towards VTU as all of their applications are stuck due to the delayed results.

Why are the VTU results not yet announced?
From past four years, answer scripts were scanned and sent to a set of colleges. The colleges also invited set of lecturers for online valuation. This scanning of answer papers, correction and results upload were supported by a third party private company called as “mind logic”. But this time due to various unpredictable circumstances and the outrage of students along with irresponsible valuation resulted in delay of results as well as dismissal of 10 professors from VTU University.

Thus the valuations were carried out again and this time manually. Thus we can predict that the valuation process is going to take ample amount of time. Speaking to the press vice chancellor of VTU, Dr. Karisiddappa said that – “VTU University will be using the government provided software for this time for scanning and also importing of machines for the same is still in progress.”

Current status:
Valuation has just been completed and now it is time for results. As VTU also gave one more chance to students who got the year back in the past, crash course classes were started; which is also completed; and now students are eagerly waiting for their results.

Bengaluru, 10 May 2017: Karnataka 2nd PUC results are one of the crucial results in students career as they march towards their goals of joining various streams. Every year the 2nd PUC exams are conducted in the month of March and followed by CET (Common Entrance Test) in May. The PUC results are also announced in the month of May giving ample amount of time for students to plan their future course.

It is suggested for all the students to go through the model answers carefully and then apply for Re-valuation, only if students feel they should have got more marks for any particular answer. This will also help the students to know how how well they have answered the board exams and will have an idea of how much they will be scoring in the board exams.
